Before using this software service tool, make sure your  printer can enter into “service mode”, each printer has a different way to get into “service mode”. In general, here’s how to enter service mode on a  printer.

Printer  Service Mode:

• Turn off the  printer, don’t unplugging the power cable.
• The Printer Press and hold resume button then press the power button.
• Keep pressing the Printer power button and release the resume button.
• Then press the 5x Resume button your Printer.
• Then release all the Power & Resume buttons Printer.
• The power LED will blink and you’re in Service Mode and your printer ready to reset or Service Tool

How to install:

• Download, extract and run the .exe file, (if your antivirus is a blocked file, pause it or disable it for a while)
• Press the install button
• Choose the destination folder
• Press Finish

How to use:

1. Turn on and connect the Printer to the Computer in “Service Mode” mode. For how to enter Service Mode, each Canon printer has different techniques, please browse the internet according to the Canon Printer Type that you will reset.
2. Download Service Tool V4905 and Extract then run it. If a virus is detected, please temporarily disable your computer antivirus. (don't be afraid this tool is not a virus).
3. Prepare several sheets of paper on the printer's backing paper, in the reset process the printer will print a resetter log report document.
4. Then on the line "Absorber (Main)" Click "Set". Then the printer will print one sheet of document, when the confirmation window appears, click "OK".

6. Done, turn off the Printer.
